The Half Marathon
The Half Marathon scenic course follows the waterfront, starting and finishing in front of the Belvedere Hotel next to the Woody Point Jetty. The 21.1km course follows the coast line to Scarborough, before returning to the Woody Point Jetty. The Half Marathon event attracts local, national & international competitors each year.

|Cut off time||The following Cut off times are enforced to ensure participant safety & the reopening of roads as per the Road Closure Permit.
Participants must reach the following interim points to continue in the race:Half Marathon – 3hrs 30 minutes cut off time
• 8:20 am – 9.5km (Fortune Avenue, near Tingira Park)
• 9:20 am – 16km (Redcliffe Parade entry on return journey, near Redcliffe Jetty )
• 10:15 am – Race Finish Line
If entrants have not reached designated points, then an Official will inform the competitor that they have been withdrawn from the race. A vehicle will be arranged to collect competitors to return to Crockatt Park.

|Prize Money||1st $1000, 2nd $600, 3rd $400 awarded to Male and Female winners. Places are awarded on Gun Time|
|Timing||Disposable Race Timing Chips located on the back of race bibs|
|Age Categories||Adults: 18-29 years, 30-39 years, 40-49 years, 50-59 years, 60-69 years, 70-79 years, 80+ years|
|Age Group Winners||Medallions will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd & 3rd Male and Female winners in each age group based on Net Time. Medallions will be sent via Australia Post after the event|
