3km Fun Run/Walk

What is included in my registration fee?

If you are registering for the 21km (Half Marathon) or the 10km, included in your registration fees is also a Jetty 2 Jetty 2024 branded race singlet. If you're registered in the 5km or 3 km race you will receive a Jetty 2 Jetty 2024 race cap.

Can a friend or relative enter me on my behalf?

Other people can register you on your behalf. Each individual will however be required to electronically sign a waiver. You will receive an email to the address which was entered at the time of entry with the link to the waiver which must be signed electronically.

What does Race Wave mean?

A race wave is simply a subset of runners starting at different times. It does not affect finish time for chipped bibs as crossing the start line is when the runners time begins. Jetty 2 Jetty race waves start in 2 minute increments. Prize money is based off gun time and will only be eligible to those competing in the elite wave. Please email info@j2j.com.au if you’d like to be moved into this wave. Note, prize money only available in the half marathon and 10km events.

What does cut off time mean?

This means you must arrive at a certain point on the course before an allotted time. Details of all race cut-off times will be detailed in the pre-event race brief and under each individual race event on the Jetty 2 Jetty site. If you do not reach the certain points on the course by the cut off time you will be collected by one of our course marshals who will drive you back to the Race Precinct at Pelican Park.

Can I transfer my registration to another person?

Yes. If you would like to transfer your race registration to another person for the Jetty 2 Jetty Fun Run, this can be completed by contacting our Registrations Director at info@j2j.com.au.

In your email please list your full name and the race you are currently registered for, the full name of the person you wish to transfer your entry to and their email address. Once received, your registration will then be cancelled and you will be sent a unique code to the value of the entry fee you paid.

You can then pass this discount on to the person you are transferring your registration to. If there is any difference in the fees between those at the time of the new entry and the discount code value, this will have to be paid by the new entrant.

For example, if you paid $50 for your entry, you will be issued with a unique discount code for $50 which you pass on to your friend. They then go online to enter as normal and at the check out, input the discount. If the entry fee for the race is now $70, they will be required to pay the difference of $20.

Only one transfer per original entry is permitted. All transfers are strictly subject to availability and must be processed before midnight Monday 15 July. If a race sells out between the time of issuing the discount and the new person entering, they will have to choose another race distance to enter.

If you do not authorise and complete your transfer through ACTIVE, you will be issued a DNF status on race day.

NO RACE DAY TRANSFERS.

Can I transfer to another race?

Yes. If you would like to transfer to a different distance for the Jetty 2 Jetty Fun Run, this can be completed by contacting our Registrations Director at info@j2j.com.au. Please include in this email your full name and which race you would like to transfer to.

If you are transferring up in distance, please include in the email your permission to charge the credit card and the CVV number on your credit card (3-digit number on the back of the card) used in your original registration for the difference in fee between the original entry fee and the current cost of the relevant race. If you are transferring down in distance, there are no refunds for the changes.

Only one transfer per original entry is permitted.

Transfers to other distances are subject to availability in the selected race and must be processed before 3pm Monday 15th July.

If you fail to authorise your transfer through ACTIVE, you may be issued with a DNF status on race day.
